
Our robot is shaping up. As of this week:
- Drive train construction is complete.
- The manipulator lift is complete and attached to the drive train.
- Construction of the hatch and cargo manipulator is 90% complete. We will attach it to the drive train with a pivoting wrist mechanism.
- The climbing mechanism is being fabricated.
- Students are designing and installing electrical boards.
- Programming is mostly complete. We need to thoroughly test and debug.
- We are finishing the bumper design.
Out plans for next week include:
- Installing climbing system on robot.
- Building and installing bumpers. Testing and refining robot.
